Cumberland Valley Animal Hospital was started as a one-veterinarian clinic operated from the home of its founder, Dr. Campbell Mercer. As a young veterinarian, “Doc” Mercer had a deep love for animals and a vision of a veterinary hospital that treats pets with the same level of medical care and attention given to human patients. It was his insight and dedication to veterinary medicine and the furthering of his vision by current owner, Dr. Keaton B. Smith, that has brought the Cumberland Valley Animal Hospital to where it is today—a full-service facility offering the most progressive and up-to-date treatment for pets throughout Laurel County and surrounding communities.

Appointments:
In order to allow sufficient time for our patients, we see patients by appointment. Although walk-ins are accepted, we recommend that you call us at 606-864-9120 to schedule an appointment so that you will not have to wait to be seen by the veterinarian.
