Looking for a way to work with animals? Home at Last Animal Sanctuary is seeking one full-time or two part-time people to assist in the daily care of rescued animals. Hours, pay, and housing (rustic) are negotiable. Assistant(s) will need reasonable physical strength and exceptional emotional strength, especially in the areas of compassion, dedication, and reliability.
HAL also needs volunteers who may help in the following ways:
1) volunteer an expertise such as photography, animal husbandry, or clerical work,
2) assist in fundraising,
3) give hands-on care at the sanctuary.
*NOTE: Although volunteers are not paid, it is crucial that if you commit your assistance that you follow through with that commitment.

Applications are always accepted and are kept on file for one year. Due to our low employee turnover and employees who return to work during college breaks, we will probably not be hiring when you turn in your application. We do not call applicants until we have an opening and are setting up interviews, which may not be for several months.
